Finding Subtext is a passion project of mine. Established in 2019, Finding Subtext aims to analyze social, cultural, and political situations using a no-nonsense approach rooted in psychology. The show comes in two forms, "Mini-Episodes" which are short small-topic videos, and "Episodes" which aim to hyper-analyze a given topic.
I'm a queer socialist 20-something with way too much going on. I've worked many jobs over the years; professional photography, cinematography, video editing, and I'm currently pursuing an education in clinical psychology. I aim to bring all these skills to Finding Subtext, along with my own personal experiences. I've also been on YouTube since 2007 making videos on whatever interests me at the time. I've created channels with 40+ thousand subscribers, and numerous tiny channels nobody remembers; what matters to me is that I'm making something I can be proud of at the time.
Yes! I love collaborating with other creators. Contact me at my business email or via DM on my socials.
I release episodes as quickly as I can, which isn't always very fast. Once I reach my donation goals I'll be able to work on my channel full time, but that's a lofty goal for the time being.
